All of our veterinarians have fantastic ultrasounds present in their Utes. This allows us to assess soft tissue structures such as lumps and bumps, ligaments, tendons or internal abdominal structures. We have appropriate probes to image tendons, reproductive tracts ect. We at times also refer patients to the specialist ultrasonographer that services Hobart.

We have two state-of-the-art digital x-ray machines which are fully portable. This means that we are able to bring our equipment to you and service your animal on site. We at times use a company called VetCT for referral interpretation of images, especially equine necks.

We utilise a Ezy-Scan Curve for bovine (Cattle) pregnancy testing, with Vet in the Valley the ONLY vets in southern Tasmania to offer the use of this equipment.
